Coronavirus lockdown in Uganda: What Next.

LATEST UPDATES: Confirmed: 218,787   Deaths: 8,809    Recovered: 84,006
Yesterday the government of Uganda has joined millions of other governments and people to a temporarily corona virus lockdown.  Governments around the world have locked their countries form various this most especially the inbound travels.
As different countries are taking up rational measure’s to stop the spread of the pandemic corona virus, most people are left very confused and not knowing what next. Schools, mega shops or supermarkets, churches, big gatherings like death things or our pentagon weddings as our president called them.
Either way people around the world are confused about several things. Like closing restaurants and opening shops? Markets are very much open when they actually have high risks in spreading diseases? Why are some countries advising against non-essential travel while others are open?
Uganda says prevention is better than cure and that is why the government has closed down schools and all things that involve more than 10 persons. Each country however is doing so depending on the extent of the pandemic though we have not reported even one in Uganda the president said it very necessary to keep alert.

Are there other countries on coronavirus lockdown?

Following the lock down on Wuhan, China on 23 January home to 11 million people, other countries and cities have implemented this. It is in this area where it is believed that the Covid-19 is thought to have originated.
No journeys were allowed in or out of the city, public transport was suspended and private cars barred from the roads in most circumstances, except as part of the fight against the virus.
Yes very many countries have imposed these suctions though most countries it depends on the extent on their own pandemic. In Europe, where some countries, including Spain and Italy, have imposed strict nationwide lockdowns, these rules are effective from when they were released and if not followed people are facing fines between 120-200 euros per crime.
Other countries include France, California, US, Kenya, Rwanda Australia and New Zealand announce border closures, Japan’s deputy PM calls Olympics ‘cursed’, turkey, Mexico, Greece, Iran, south Korea, Germany, panama, Switzerland, Uk, us, some London tube stations shutdown while Hubei reports no new cases

There are close to 220,000 confirmed coronavirus cases worldwide.
